How to Set Up Sprout Invoices and WPESignature

With WP-E Signature (Pro or Ultimate license) and Sprout Invoices (Business+ or higher) new Digital Signature Add-on for Sprout Invoices you will collect legally binding electronic signatures before your customers pay an invoice (or agree to an estimate).

You’re going to have a UTEA/ESIGN/GDPR compliant signature that is 100% legal (where eSignature is observed) on WordPress Invoices to protect you as well as your customer.

This eSignature plugin turns your Sprout Invoice System into an Online Contract Signing application all of course with no monthly fees, unlimited users, and best of all using a WordPress website.

When utilizing a workflow with WPESignature and Sprout Invoices, you can decide if you would like to use an agreement that triggers for all invoices (Global Agreement) or assign a different agreement per invoice (Individual Agreement).

Global Agreement

To add one document that you want to apply to all invoices, you would first need to create your stand alone document and assign it to a page of its own.

Then, you would visit your eSignature integrations settings within Sprout Invoices and select the document in the dropdown.

Individual Agreement

To assign a different document per invoice, you would first need to create your stand alone document and assign it to a page of its own, then select the document in the Information section when adding an Invoice.
