WPESignature Google reCAPTCHA Add-on
eSignature’s Google reCAPTCHA add-on is an effective security solution that protects your WP E-Signature contracts from spam entries while letting real signers pass through with ease.
Signers are required to confirm that they are not a robot before the contract can be signed. It’s easy for real people and real hard for bots.
Set up Google reCAPTCHA Add-on
The first step to getting this started is registering your site with Google reCAPTCHA services.
WPESignature currently only supports Google reCaptcha Service Version 3.
- Click here to begin registering your site.
- Fill in a label.
- Select reCAPTCHA v3. WPESignature only supports reCaptcha Version 3.
- Input your domain name.
- Accept Terms of Service.
Once you submit the required information, you will be given a site key and secret key.
Next, you will need to input your site key and secret key into the following settings on WPESignature.
Visit eSignature > Settings > Customization > Google reCAPTCHA tab > Input site key and secret key > Save Settings.
Enable Google reCAPTCHA for contracts
To enable Google reCAPTCHA for all documents, select Enable reCAPTCHA for all document signing pages under the Google reCAPTCHA tab.
You can also enable Google reCAPTCHA for individual contracts by viewing the Advanced eSign Settings on the document creation screen.
